01 Services we provide

A&R offers professional cleaning services for homes and businesses in Calgary and surrounding communities, including:

• Deep carpet cleaning
• Stain and odor removal
• Upholstery and rug cleaning
• Commercial and retail cleaning
• Move-in and move-out cleaning
• Total property care packages

Service availability, scope, and timing may vary by location, demand, and seasonal capacity.

02 Booking & appointments

• Appointments are subject to availability on the date you request.
• We'll confirm your booking by phone, text, or email before the job.
• Quotes given by phone or email are estimates based on the information you provide. If on-site conditions differ materially (e.g., significantly more carpet area, heavy staining, or extra services requested), we'll confirm any change in price with you before starting.
• Please be ready and present at the agreed time, or have alternate access arranged and communicated to us in advance.

03 Cancellation & rescheduling

• Let us know as early as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule — ideally at least 24 hours before the appointment.
• Reasonable-notice cancellations are free. We understand life happens and we're flexible.
• Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a service fee equal to our minimum-visit rate, or declined future bookings.
• If we need to reschedule for any reason (weather, equipment, emergency), we'll contact you as early as possible and rebook at a time convenient for you.

04 Payment

• Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are confirmed in writing (for example, for commercial accounts on invoice terms).
• We accept cash, e-transfer, and debit/credit card payments on-site.
• All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes (GST) will be added where required.
• Outstanding balances past 30 days may be subject to a reasonable late fee in line with Alberta consumer protection norms.

05 Satisfaction guarantee

If you're not satisfied with the result of a clean, let us know within 72 hoursof service and we'll return at no additional cost to re-clean the area in question. This guarantee covers the work originally agreed to — it doesn't extend to additional rooms, upgrades, or repair work added after the fact.

06 Your responsibilities

To get the best result and keep everyone safe, we ask that you:

• Provide safe, legal access to the property at the scheduled time.
• Let us know about pets before we arrive, and keep them secured or out of the work area during the clean.
• Disclose any pre-existing damage, stains, delicate or antique fabrics, dye-transfer risks, mold, or health concerns (allergies, respiratory conditions) before we begin.
• Remove or protect valuables, breakables, and sensitive electronics from the work area.
• Ensure working power and water are available on the property when the service requires them.

07 Service limitations

Carpet and fabric cleaning has inherent limits. We always make our best effort and share an honest assessment, but we cannot guarantee:

• Complete removal of stains that have set into the carpet backing or sub-pad, or of stains older than 6 months.
• That dye stains (hair color, ink, certain juices, bleach) will be fully reversed.
• That the colour of fabrics that have not been tested for colourfastness will not change.
• That latent subfloor or structural issues (water damage, mold, pad degradation) will be discovered or resolved.
• That odors from severe events (house fires, flood, extensive pet urine saturation) will be eliminated in a single cleaning.

08 Liability

A&R carries general liability insurance covering damage caused by our negligence during a service. To the extent permitted by Alberta and Canadian consumer-protection law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a service is limited to:

• Direct property damage caused by the negligent acts or omissions of our technicians; and
• A maximum amount equal to what you paid for the service in question.

We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage to your property, whether disclosed or not.
• Damage caused by latent or undisclosed defects (e.g., rotten subfloor, compromised adhesive, water-damaged pad).
• Loss of use, business interruption, or consequential or indirect damages.
• Items we weren't asked to move or clean around.

09 Intellectual property

Our website, content, logos, photos, and marketing materials are owned by A&R Carpet Cleaning or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, repurpose, or redistribute them without written permission.

Facebook posts and videos embedded on our site are owned by Meta and the original posters; those embeds are subject to Meta's Terms of Service.

10 Reviews & testimonials

If you publicly post a review of our service (for example, on Google Business, Facebook, or another review platform), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to quote or link to that review on our website and marketing materials, attributed to your display name as it appears on the platform.

11 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as our services, legal requirements, or business practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the site, and your continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or our services will be resolved in the courts of the Province of Alberta, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
